Me! This!

Hey there, I’m Anthony and this is my new online home. I know, I know, it’s only a web-based blog…but my knowledge of all things technical is pretty limited! So I thought it best to start of modest, and hopefully grow to the stage whereby someone will be willing to help me progress…best not to be overly ambitious though, eh?

My reasons for opening this blog are two-fold; I very much enjoy writing for an audience but since finishing my degree have simply been trying to get by on whatever jobs come my way, so the old pen has gone untouched for a while now. (metaphorically speaking of course, I use a keyboard…no one actually writes anymore. I might as well have said quill, or my own blood). So, I’m planning to make this place the new home of my various short stories, scripts, and general life thoughts. It looks like I’m a bit late to the party though…

Secondly, I’m quite the enthusiastic gambler. I’ll bet on anything, including my own bets (that’s usually when I know things are going badly.) Recently my success rate has improved quite a bit, so I’m curious to see whether it’s a total fluke or if I can continue on this upward trend. I bet it’s the former – see, I told you! – but I’m banking on the latter. Therefore I’ve decided to start publishing some daily picks; not all of them mind, just a few of my favourites for the day ahead. At the mo it’s mainly just Major League Baseball with a bit of Tennis thrown in, but with the footie returning soon as well as the NFL and the NBA, there should be no shortage of events to wildly throw money at. I could try and tell you about my knowledge of the sports highlighted, my method of making picks and why maybe you should follow me too, but how about we just let my record over the next few weeks tell the story? However, feel free to contact me if you do want to know more. So here’s to winning, or to angry, hate-filled tantrums when things go wrong.
